Responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice to application development teams by reviewing the database design of the applications systems, and identifying the best solutions for implementation.
- Support operations team by identifying, defining and developing utility software to assist the smooth and stable running of the database systems.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Information Technologies/Engineering or equivalent with at least 3 years relevant working experiences.
- Solid experience in Oracle database administration, database monitoring and UNIX scripting programming.
- Experience in the support of Oracle 9i / 10g RAC in HP-UX and AIX environment and logical database design will be an advantage.
- Experience in product and implementation with up-to-date knowledge of the technology trend is highly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good analytical and problem solving skills.
