 TITLE  Financial Application Support Specialistst
 POST DATE    11/03/2007
 DETAIL Responsibilities: - Hands on application support , acting as the key front/middle/back office client facing resource

- Communicate with fund managers/professionals, traders, operations and finance/ accounts to assess and articulate user requirements.

 

- Liaise and coordinate with global development team and/or vendors to prioritize, develop and implement user requirements.

 

- Develop applications for automation and interface purposes.

Requirements:

- Degree holder with major in Computer Science or equivalent;

- 9 to 11 yrs working experience in project management, system deployment, vendor management, programming and application support, with minimum 2 years of which in project leadership or team leadership role;

 

-Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial markets, particularly in asset management;

 

-Experience in front office support / system deployment is a must (prefer Bloomberg POMS / EMS / CMGR);

 

-Experiences in supporting financial systems such as PORTIA/PAM will be a definite advantage;

 

Knowledge of financial products will be considered as an advantage;

 

Good technical skills covering VB, Crystal Report, and RDBMS such as Sybase, Oracle, MS SQL Server & MS Access;

 

Experience in Web technology like ASP, JSP, JAVA and J2EE is an asset;

 

Good understanding of infrastructure is a plus;

 

Experience in project management and good analytical skills;

 Effective interpersonal and communication skills;
